Your attention has been somewhere else all day. Here are sixteen minutes to bring it back.
No app to manage. No streak counting down at you.
One audio file and a voice that tells you what to do the moment your mind wanders — which it will.
Send me the track ↓MindfulnessMeditation.com is a guided meditation you listen to, not an app you manage.
A recorded voice walks you through where to put your attention, and stays with you through the part everyone finds hardest: the moment you notice you've drifted off and have to begin again. The free track runs sixteen minutes. Headphones on a train work fine. So does a parked car before you walk into the house.
Weight for a wandering mind.
The sixteen minutes
Here's exactly what happens. No mystery to it.
0:00–2:30
Getting settled. Where to sit, what to do with your hands, why your eyes can stay open.
2:30–6:00
Following the breath without controlling it. Counting, then dropping the count.
6:00–10:30
The wandering. Your mind leaves. The voice shows you how to notice and come back without turning it into a failure. This is the whole skill.
10:30–14:00
Widening out — from the breath to sound, to temperature, to the room around you.
14:00–16:00
Coming back slowly, so you don't lurch straight into whatever's next.
This will suit some people and quietly annoy others.
Do this if:
- Your head gets loudest around 11pm.
- You've quit three meditation apps because the streak turned it into homework.
- You'd rather try the thing than read about the thing.
Skip this if:
- You want music with no talking. This track has a voice the whole way through.
- You're after sleep stories or white noise.
Where should we send it?
Enter your email. The track lands in about a minute, with a short plain note on how to use it.
What won't happen:
- No daily emails, and no sequence written to sound like a friend checking in.
- No card, ever. The track is free because it's a sample of what we make.
- One message, a week later, asking whether it did anything for you. Unsubscribe and every trace of you is gone.
